Mary Wilson

Hinshaw's book (Vol I/Pg 75) indicates Thomas married (2) Mary Wilson.  There are others that indicate Thomas married (2) Mary Newby.  Probably Mary was also previously married.

James Rogers

Some data was taken from the New England Historical and Genealogical Society bulletin from October 1863.  Other data was taken from the book "James Rogers of New London, CT and his Descendants" by James Swift Rogers, published by the compiler.  Other data was taken from the book "John Rogers" by Joseph Lemuel Chester, published by Longman, Green, Longman and Roberts in 1861.


Thomas Stanton

Thomas Stanton was Winthrop's interpreter to the Indians in 1636.  Thomas Stanton's parents data was taken from the book "THOMAS STANTON OF CONNECTICUT and HIS DESCENDANTS 1635-1891" by William A. Stanton, page 60 and the publications of the Harleian Society and its visit to Warwickshire, page 277.


Anne Lord

Anne Lord emigrated to New England on the "Elizabeth and Ann" on the 29th of April 1635.
Anne Lord, bapt. England, Sept. 18, 1614, d. Stonington, Conn., 1688; m. Hartford, Conn., 1637, Thomas Stanton, b. England 1616, d.Stonington, Dec. 2, 1677, Son of Thomas and Katherine Washington Stanton, who went from London to Virginia in 1635 and then toHartford.  Lived in Hartford and Stonington.
