The Comstock book has Nancy married to David H Gardner. There is no mention of Elias Loomis. No other Nancy in the Comstock book seems to fit the Nancy married to Elias. Nancy's father's will refers to a "Nancy Comstock" and NOT to a "Nancy Gardner."

BURIAL: Buried in Brighton Village Cemetery, Brighton, Michigan. This cemetery is also known as the Mill Pond Cemetery because it is located next to Mill Pond in downtown Brighton.
BURIAL: The gravesite has four gravestones plus a monument. The monument has the family name of Newman on it. Next to Aaron is Janett M. Newman, b Oct 5, 1847, d Jan 13, 1887. It is possible that Janett is Aaron's second wife. On the other side of the monument are two stones with the last name Taylor on them.
MARRIAGE: Aaron's second wife is probably Janet M Butler. The Livingston Co. marriage index has A A Newman married to Janet M Butler, 1865, Vol. 3, Pg. 102. Aaron is buried next to Janett M Newman.
Had brothers Archie and Alfred Leach and a sister Etta Leach from Bridgeport (MI?). At the time of Thelma's adoption, Margaret had one sister and three brothers alive. Thelma remembered visiting Margaret's relatives in Michigan, possibly Pontiac.
Margaret raised another child, Jane Graves after her parents separated.
